"I'm riding a motorcycle from Atlanta, GA to the Arctic Circle, AK, because it's hard and long and something I will do alone in honor of my sister, Kris, who has breast cancer.  I'm hoping this site gives her something to read during chemo, because that's hard and it takes a long time, and it's something she has to do alone.

Thanks for visiting my site. It is dedicated to my sister and my family and is a way for me to help the fight against breast cancer as my sister battles it herself. Using the links above, you can read my story, see my plan, follow my journey, and donate to the Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink for the Cure®, the leader of the global breast cancer movement.

My gear, my supporters, and my route have all been chosen to present another way of travel - by motorcycle, bringing along minimal belongings. I will travel with only the necessities. My route will be long, through some of the most remote areas in the lower 48 states. My path will then lead through Canada and on to the Alcan Highway into Alaska, ultimately arriving at the Arctic Circle.

I hope my readers enjoy this site and can be entertained, possibly educated, and hopefully even inspired. Please donate and help all of those who will benefit from research, education, medical care, and ultimately, a cure for cancer.
