2011 TEAM

Curt Coulombe
I met Daniel about 3 months before his inaugural ride to Alaska in 2010. So impressed with his conviction for the cause and concern for his sister, I decided to join him for 2012. The Atl to the Arctic program has real potential and I would like to see this event eventually bringing riders from all over the US and the world to help raise money for this cause.

Paul Coulombe
Age 70 Curts father. When Curt told me what he was going to do, i said that was too much for me. But I have given it a lot of thought and I feel great, so I decided that I would like the chance to perhaps in a small way bring attention to this insidious disease.
My wife is a breast cancer surviver of over 35 years, and i have lost numerous friends and relatives to it thru the years.
I had a nuclear stress test a short while ago and it came back great, there was no change since my quadruple bypass of over 8 years ago. So i am ready to go. Once you hit 70 you know time is not on your side so you might as well do what you can today and not be concerned about tomorrow.....

Lori Stabler
Has been riding since 2006, when she came to her senses and purchased her trusty Triumph Bonnie, Lubelle. She currently lives in Birmingham, AL and plans to move to Mentone on Lookout Mountain this spring, with her two dogs and one cat. Lori has been on several shorter-distance moto-camping trips, and is looking forward to this Alaska adventure!

Lori is riding to raise awareness for breast cancer and promote healthy living. She encourages women across the country to get regular mammograms and perform self-checks. Her mother and several friends are breast cancer survivors - they are living proof that we can beat this disease!
